This action covers "investors" whom deposited funds with the defunct My Mortgage Auction Corp dba Shop Your Own Mortgage and have not received funds in excess of their deposits.
The Pleadings and Contingency (Payment) agreement are subject to approval by the court

The pleadings have been filed with the BC Supreme Court registry on 25 April 2025 in Vancouver, file S-253183, naming the following defendants:
Greg Martel
My Mortgage Auction Corp
Royal Bank of Canada
BC Financial Services Authority
The Proposed Class members are:
"All persons who suffered financial loss as a result of fraudulent activities conducted through accounts or services provided by the Defendants during the period from January 1, 2020, to May 4, 2023 , excluding any persons who received payments from My Mortgage Auction Corp. or Gregory Martel in excess of their original investment ("Net Winners") and are subject to recovery proceedings initiated by PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. in its capacity as Trustee in Bankruptcy of the Consolidated Estate of My Mortgage Auction Corp. and Gregory Joseph Martel"
The next step is to await a response from the Defendants and proceeding to seeking court approval to certify the action and approve a payment agreement with the law firm.
OPTIONS AS A CLASS MEMBER
Do nothing - you will be included in the action automatically if and when it is certified
